Let Me Tell You About Love

Love is the most misunderstood emotion, most sought after emotion in the world. After 33 years of psychically counseling people, I have found love is a major problem in most people's lives simply because they do not understand the real meaning of love. People try to buy love, go searching for it in all the wrong places, and even sacrifice their own life to what they think is love. Some even kill themselves over it.

Love does not stand alone on passion and sex. People get very confused about this. Love means honesty, loyalty, generosity and communication.

One lady told me her husband is a drunk, he hits her. He is surrounded with other women, and still she supports him. She told me, "I love him." I said, "Make a list of what you love about him." It was only sex. How sad.

And About Choice

I told a client the other day, after she told me about her marriage, "Your husband is like talking to the wall." No communication means no growth in your relationship. She can live with him as long as she is willing to let him pin the donkey tail on her. But what a way to live! She will always have to adapt to him in order to live with him. For sure, she will never have, as the song says, "My Little Nest of Heavenly Blue."

These women, and others who are living in this kind of situation, need to understand that the Universe does not make choices for us.

You can change your life by the way you think. Jesus said, "As a man thinketh, so is a man.” Our thinking is influenced by church, home and school, to be sure. But dare to be different. Dare to make different choices. We are what we are by the choices we make. If you are living like this, choose to change the way you allow yourself to be treated and your life will absolutely change.
